Below is more information about the event.

Here you can find more information about St Leonards.

St Leonards is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school in the heart of St Andrews. With close links to St Andrews University and world-renowned golf courses, the school offers a world of opportunity for all its pupils.

St Leonards has a reputation for high achievement within a culture of creativity, enabling students to develop into well-rounded, courteous and confident individuals. It welcomes pupils from around 25 nationalities, with full flexi or weekly boarding available from age 11. There is now a direct flight operating from Doha to Edinbugh, which is under an hour away from St Leonards. Transport to and from the airport is organised by the school.

St Andrews is an unrivalled location to start your child’s education. Idyllic beaches, heritage landmarks and spectacular countryside are within walking distance of the school. The school campus is set amidst beautiful medieval walls and holds a mixture of historic and modern buildings, multiple sports fields, an astroturf and a 25m swimming pool. Boarding houses are stylish, comfortable, with a ‘home-from-home’ warmth and views of the sea – one of the boarding houses has just completed a £3million redevelopment.

Class sizes are small and teachers know each student as an individual. A lively academic ethos encourages pupils to explore ideas and develop their thinking, enabling them to form ways of learning that last for life. Pupils have a choice of over 35 co-curricular activities, enabling children not only to pursue existing passions, but also discover new ones. The Junior School has also been completely redeveloped, and offers a dynamic primary years curriculum led by an energetic, nurturing new Headmaster.

St Leonards leads the way with its IB provision in Scotland and has excellent links with universities. In 2016, 99% of St Leonards leavers who gained a place at university were offered their first or second choice. 86% achieved the equivalent of A*/A/B at A Level. The average points score was 34 – an excellent outcome in a sixth form that welcomes students with a range of academic abilities. For the second year running, St Leonards has been ranked Top Independent Scottish School Sixth Form for IB/A-Level by the Sunday Times Schools Guide.

Elite, development and beginner golf programmes are offered as well as activities including music, drama, art, sailing, outdoor pursuits and equestrian sports. The St Leonards motto is Ad Vitam, interpreted as ‘for life’. It permeates every aspect of St Leonards – where learning and friendships are made for life.
